Where can we find incremental quality today?

21 June 2012

The value of higher education has become quite an interest of mine with both my girls getting up in high school. What’s clear is that only a high school education, doesn’t open many doors. What’s not clear, is if the college experience is worth the cost? It’s clearly a very broken industry only surpassed in lame by the medical service industry.

I’ve had conversations with many a friend about whether it’s best just to give our kids the ‘college’ money to start their own business, rather than to a college. While a nice thought, it’s probably too much a risk and stress to place on most of our young.
